Workforce attendance and time tracking

Last updated: September 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SiteClock, operated by Zentro Tech MB ("SiteClock", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects information when users access or use the SiteClock mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how SiteClock is used, we may process the following information:

2. Camera Access

SiteClock uses the device camera to scan QR codes associated with workplaces or projects. Camera access is used for QR code scanning. SiteClock does not require users to provide photographs through the QR scanning function.

3. Location Information

SiteClock may access device location when location verification is enabled or required for a check-in or check-out operation. Location information is used to help verify that an attendance action is performed at the appropriate workplace or project location.

SiteClock is not intended to continuously track an employee's location when location verification is not being performed.

4. Biometric Authentication

SiteClock may allow users to authenticate using biometric capabilities provided by their device, such as fingerprint recognition, Face ID, or other supported biometric authentication methods.

SiteClock does not receive or store a user's fingerprint, facial scan, biometric template, or other raw biometric data. Biometric verification is performed by the device operating system. SiteClock only receives the authentication result required to authorize access to securely stored authentication credentials.

5. Authentication and Security

SiteClock uses authentication credentials and security tokens to provide authorized access to user accounts. Where biometric login is enabled, a device authentication token may be stored using secure storage mechanisms provided by the operating system.

User passwords are not stored by SiteClock in device biometric storage.

6. How We Use Information

Information processed through SiteClock may be used to:

7. Sharing of Information

SiteClock does not sell users' personal information.

Information may be disclosed when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid request from a competent authority.

8. Data Retention

Personal information and attendance records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the SiteClock service, maintain legitimate business records, satisfy contractual requirements, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the requirements applicable to the relevant company account.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. These measures include authentication controls and secure handling of authentication credentials.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights regarding their personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or other applicable data protection rights.
